RXO - Legacy Moderernization

The challenge

RXO currently hosts their critical services in Dell Boomi and a homegrown API System hosted onprem. The service workloads also needed to be migrated to GCP. This would lead to increased ramp and consumption of GCP services thereby increasing RXO's cloud footprint. RXO needed a partner to help migrate these workloads to Apigee/GCP.

The solution

Digital Disruption helped RXO build infrastructure in GCP using IaC and helped migrate the onprem services to Apigee. This was part of the overall Digital Transformation and Application Modernization strategy to help gain efficiencies and gain advantages of the GCP platform while providing outstanding availability and global infrastructure and aid in Cloud Native development.

The result

Digital Disruption team planned and executed a migration of services deployed on-prem to the GCP platform, along with building automation and governance processes with CI/CD controls in place to aid future development and greatly accelerated adoption in Apigee and GCP.
